Established by Gary and Todd Wolter in 1987, the Wolter Group has earned a reputation as the premier custom home builder on Sanibel and Captiva Islands, located off the coast of southwest Florida. Since then, the company has built more than 300 custom homes, ranging in size from 1,700 sq. ft. to more than 10,000 sq. ft., and it has completed more than 200 home remodeling projects.

 Gary Wolter departed the Wolter Group in 2000 to begin his retirement after more than 40 accomplished years in the building business in both Southwest Florida and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Wolter Group continues to gain loyal customers by providing consistently superior customer service, quality craftsmanship and reliability. In fact, many of the company's clients are located out of state during the building process but have been able to put their trust in The Wolter Group to create their dream home as promised. 

Comprised of a dynamic team of experienced people, the Wolter Group focuses on a small number of luxury homes so that the team can be heavily involved in all phases of its projects. Todd Wolter is readily available to walk a customer's lot with them to address any concerns and assist in determining the best design to maximize both views and use of the property. At the design stage, a selection of the company's custom homes is almost always accessible for viewing. And revisions are always welcome and encouraged throughout the building process.
