Team Bios

Todd Wolter

President/Owner
Co-Founded the Wolter Group in 1987

Todd has been involved in the building industry for his entire career, starting as a carpenter for his father’s company Wolter Bros. Builders in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Moving to southwest Florida in 1984, Todd worked as superintendant and estimator at Neiman, Wolter Homes until leaving and founding the Wolter Group in 1987 with his father. Todd’s focus at the company is sales, design, permitting and operations management.

When away from the office, he enjoys family time with his wife, Kathleen, and children, Collin, Lauren and Michael. Todd’s hobbies include tennis, basketball and fitness training.


Todd Zamniak

Vice President/Owner
Joined the Wolter Group in 1989

As Vice President, Todd Zamniak oversees all construction projects from start to finish. He also produces and tracks project scheduling, manages customer service and oversees client requests for changes.

With a degree in engineering, Todd owned a construction company in New York state before moving to southwest Florida. He also was a kitchen and bath designer before joining the Wolter Group. In his spare time, Todd enjoys golfing, boating with his wife Lori, and coaching sports for his two young sons, Trent and Trevor.


Dennis Wolter

Project Manager
Joined the Wolter Group in 2000

Dennis Wolter has been in the building industry for his entire career. He owned a framing company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for 18 years before moving to southwest Florida where he continued his trade until joining the Wolter Group.

As the company’s project manager, Dennis works closely with homeowners onsite and in key walk-throughs to ensure all details are in place. He also is in charge of scheduling and quality control.

Although Dennis is passionate about the building business, his true love is Harley Davidson motorcycles.


C. Scott Zamniak

Project Estimator
Joined the Wolter Group in 1992

Scott works closely with clients, architects and Todd Wolter to create specifications and budgets for all projects. He also tracks and approves all account payables and receivables; creates and tracks all change order related items with Todd Zamniak; and works closely with all subcontractors and suppliers on cost engineering for projects.

Originally from Auburn, New York, Scott moved to southwest Florida in 1988. His interests include golf and spending time with his two children, Zach and Skylar.


Frank Parsons

Service Technician

Before moving to Ft. Myers from the Bronx, New York in 2003 Frank was the shop manager at Supreme Components and then had his own business, Parson’s Woodworking, where he remodeled kitchens and baths. At the Wolter Group, he oversees subcontractors performing repairs and punch outs and helps with all building projects as needed.

Outside of work Frank spends his time coaching, fundraising and videotaping the Cypress Lake High football team, where his son is the star quarterback.


Betty Kapla

Office Manager
Joined the Wolter Group in 2000

Betty is the company’s office manger and works closely with the team through all phases of the projects. She keeps the office running smoothly by managing incoming mail, phone calls and billing. Betty also sends all electronic images and other updates to clients.

Before joining the Wolter Group, she worked at The Sanibel Building Department for five years. In her spare time, Betty does several karaoke shows a week and she sings in a live duo show.
